My Story ~ why I love the work I do
To thine own self be true. ~ Polonius
I am a true blue, water lovin' mermaid living in the Teton Mountains and a Midwest girl at heart.
My health and spiritual journey has been one of learning to radically love and care for myself. Learning to fill up my own cup, so I can better serve and be present with others. Learning to connect to my body and breath to experience a greater connection to my heart, my true essence, and to my Creator.
My spirit and body have shown me at different times of my life imbalances and energy blocks revealing themselves as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, depression, Epstein Barr Virus, hormone imbalances, PMS, insecurity, lack of worthiness, and not feeling confident or at home in my own body.
I've navigated many life transitions in my short time on this planet ~ Health issues, death of a parent, divorce, financial struggles, many moves, changes in career and complete exhaustion.
These challenges have taught me how to listen to my body. To learn what is most nourishing to me. To hear and live my truth. To listen to and follow my inner Divine wisdom. To know who I truly am, instead of who others have told me to be.
It has been through practicing radical self-compassion and self-care using yoga, prayer and meditation, dance, journaling, energy healing, and food as medicine, to support me through all of these life transitions. I have learned how to ground myself during stressful times and hold space for myself to process all that is unfolding. It has connected me to who I truly am, what is most nourishing to me, and has continued to fuel my passion to share these nourishing, embodied practices with others.
I love to create sacred, healing, and nourishing experiences for others whether in a yoga class, workshop, or during a private healing or coaching session.

My experiences and interests:
Since 2005, my journey has lead me into a deep dive study of nutrition, yoga, mindfulness, meditation, energy healing, soulful dance, non-violent communication, coaching, servant-leadership, business, astrology, and women's health to support my process of coming home inside of my body and my true essence, and to support others in doing the same.
In 2010, I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Coach learning from Functional Medicine, Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine and whole health experts from all over the world. I have been coaching clients since then in using self-care practices to heal digestive, skin, body confidence, and fatigue related issues.
In 2012, I completed my Masters of Science in Health Promotion Management degree from Nebraska Methodist College to study culture change to support individuals in making healthy choices.
In 2015, I began studying with a yoga mentor, Sundari Lucey, who fuses Anusara, Iyengar, Therapeutic Yoga and the energetics of the body into an exploration of the mind, body and spirit that inspires and heals. I graduated with a 200-hr Yoga Alliance Teacher certification in 2015 and completed a 500-hr Yoga Alliance Teacher certification in September 2017 through her yoga teacher school, It's Only a Dance. I am now a RYT-500 and by spring 2020 I will be a E-RYT 500 level of certification through Yoga Alliance.
In 2018, I completed Reiki Level 1 & 2 Energy Healing training through Karen LaDuke and am currently in the Reiki III Master program.
Since 2011 when I had my first astrology chart done by Sidereal Astrologer Lyn Daleabout, I have been had a passion and interest to the study of planet and star wisdom with Lyn as my mentor and guide along the way. I weave it's knowledge into my classes and private session work and enjoy bringing these aspects to the awareness of my clients to have a greater understanding of themselves and nature and planetary cycles.
